Description:
I am highly enthusiastic about all things Marine and Ecology related (much to the annoyance of my friends, who are mostly engineers and do not care what kind of invertebrate that is). I have just graduated from Otago with a BSc in Ecology and a minor in Marine science and am currently working on my Marine Science Masters at Auckland.
My preferred style of teaching involves practical aspects (as in actually looking at a leaf to explain how it works) or using real life problems and situations to explain what is going on. I also strongly encourage the "figure it out yourself and I will help" approach. This is a vital skill to learn as you continue through the education system, especially at a tertiary level.
I would prefer to come to you for tutoring or met in a library somewhere. I have my own transport, so that is not an issue.
