| Description: I am a friendly, understanding and patient type of person. I don't just "think" that every child deserves a patient and caring tutor, but firmly believe in the statement. I tutor Science, English and Maths for all year levels from 1-9. I have tutored quite a few students, although the students are not signed on the Tutors home website. For lesson’s, I am available at my house, or at the library. During the lessons, I will hand out worksheets, and the student will also receive a work book, (depending on their level). The plan for the one hour lessons are usually as followed: >10 minutes: Revision of our last lesson. >30 minutes: Covering areas the student needs to be tutored in. >10 Minutes: Help with homework from school, or any questions student may have. (if there is none, then proceed with "30 minute" period). >10 minutes: Getting new (and fun!) homework. Also explaining, if student does not understand the task given. This plan is just a generalization of what is usually done. Personally, I think the best thing about my tutoring is that I do not teach all students in the same way. This is because I both believe and have seen, how certain students learn visually, whereas others might learn by notes etc. Therefore, I personalize each lesson to meet the needs of each student in order to obtain maximum results.
